Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) is a registered charity that provides palliative, respite, end of life and bereavement care for life-limited and terminally ill children and their families from the South West England region. It oversees three of the 41 children's hospices in the United Kingdom.

CHSW set about an ambitious project to implement a new CRM system (Salesforce) in parallel with a new website launch.

Nine Feet Tall was brought in, part way through the project, to manage the day-to-day delivery of Salesforce and the new website. The work included, requirements gathering of phase 2 requirements, project planning, supplier management, test manager, training, go-live & post-go-live support.

Nine Feet Tall helped Children's Hospice South West to implement their new Access Clinical Information System by providing project management, business analysis and change management support. Project scope included deploying the Care and Clinical module to the care team to digitise notes and adopt hand held devices to enable flexibility to access care plans whilst on the go. Nine Feet Tall quickly established a sound project environment with "just enough" project governance and provided a project health check to determine progress and risks. From here the planning with dependency management could be set in motion and work began to ensure the smooth implementation of the new system. Nine Feet Tall developed the change strategy to minimise disruption, ensure business continuity and successfully realise all benefits. The project was delivered on time and following a successful go-live, all data is now stored centrally, information can be accessed efficiently, improving ways of working and ensuring consistency across the different sites.
