With over 3,000 employees, Viridor is one of the UK’s largest utilities companies. Its primary services are in plastics recycling and energy recovery. Viridor boasts the UK’s largest network of 300+ advanced recycling, energy recovery and landfill diversion facilities with a waste collection service of 600+ vehicles.

 

Work Management

Across the recycling sites, Viridor needed to upgrade asset management software. A Work Management project was established to implement the new system to all sites.

Project & Change Management

Nine Feet Tall were brought in to manage the implementation of the new IT system to keep the project on track and provide key Project and Change Management services, including a communications strategy. The project was smoothly delivered remotely by an agile team who prioritised communication and flexibility. Nine Feet Tall successfully completed the implementation of Holistech Web to three recycling sites. The project was publicly praised for its success, highlighting the positive impact of the change management approach.

Policy and Procedure Review

Following Viridor’s recent aquisition of Scandanavian company Quantafuel, Nine Feet Tall were engaged to provide one single, comprehensive suite of Viridor policies and procedures which fully integrated all Quantafuel requirements and was in full compliance with relevant regional laws and regulations. Nine Feet Tall provided Project Management, Analysis and Stakeholder Management to align these policies and procedures.

User Adoption

Viridor wanted to improve user adoption of their D365 Asset Management Module. Nine Feet Tall were engaged to assess and encourage adoption and embed the system into ways of working across Viridor. Nine Feet Tall established governance structures within the wider project team to monitor and track improvements to the Asset Management Module. Nine Feet Tall acted as the communication and engagement lead to build momentum and embed the module into ways of working. This work included establishing a super user induction programme, refreshing training material and delivering tailored onsite stakeholder group sessions.
