Housing Virtual Roundtable Event – Key Success Factors For Delivering Transformation

We are looking forward to hosting a Virtual Roundtable Event aimed at business and transformation leaders in the Housing sector next Wednesday, 29th September. If you are keen to attend you can still book a place here. Digital transformation has been on the agenda for many housing providers and these events provide a much-needed platform for thoughtful discussion and insight.

Customers are increasingly expecting digital solutions for their day-to-day interactions with housing providers and the pressure to deliver is high. Technology has evolved so quickly in recent years and the race is on to provide personalisation, efficiency and more customer control.

The Roundtable Event, will include interactive discussions, best practice advice and the key success factors to deliver transformation.

We look forward to welcoming Rachel Smith, Director of Programmes at LiveWest, who will discuss the recent large IT Transformation they have delivered. Rachel will provide an open account of the challenges they faced, the lessons learned and the feedback from the LiveWest team as they replaced their complicated operational systems with a single integrated product, which now incorporates their finance, customer service, asset management and housing management operational areas. Rachel will share the difficulties they faced to deliver this complex project and is quick to admit digital transformation can be a tough journey. Speaking about the event, Rachel said: “I am looking forward to the Virtual Roundtable in a few weeks as I am keen to share our experiences and talk about the next steps in our digital journey, as well as reflecting on the lessons we have learned along the way.”

LiveWest owns and manages over 38,000 homes across the Southwest of England and have ambitious plans to build 6,250 new affordable homes over the next five years, investing around £2bn into the Southwest regional economy. The housing provider offers homes for affordable rent and shared ownership sale, and also build homes for private sale to generate profits which we then use to provide and build more affordable homes.
